2007 Microsoft MVP
Published February 4, 2007 by Robbie
I was notified recently that I’ve been named a Microsoft MVP for the fourth year. My primary contributions to the Microsoft community in 2006 include publishing two Windows Server related books plus creating a new website (developed using Ruby on Rails) to host the 1900 scripts from my books.
I don’t want to complain, but the MVP Award this year is not as good as previous years. The award includes a leatherbound box containing a 1GB USB key fob and MVP ballpoint pen. Previously they’ve given a Swiss Army backpack, USB MP3 player, and Swiss Army briefcase. I’ve never had much use for USB keys, so I can’t say I’m going to use this year’s gift. The other MVP perks are still nice, which include a MSDN Universal subscription and $150 Microsoft store credit.
